www.PreserveTheAmericanDream.com (PAID) to Sponsor Blogger’s at NJ’s First Annual Defending The American Dream Summit

It was announced today that www.PreserveTheAmericanDream.com will sponsor Blogger’s Row at New Jersey’s first annual Defend The Dream Summit to be held at the Trenton Marriott Hotel on May 29th and 30th.  Statewide New Jersey Political Blogger’s will be in attendance and working hard to get the information out immediately, by covering the convention, interviewing the various speakers, politicians and members of the media who will be in attendance.  The Summit is New Jersey’s annual meeting of Americans For Prosperity Foundation, a National organization with operations in over 20 states that assists citizens in cutting taxes and demanding government fiscal responsibility.

What America Means to Me

Hoboken, New Jersey, nestles on the Hudson River, directly across from New York City was for decades refuse for thousands who immigrated to America like my Grandparents who believed that, unlike the poverty of their European roots, the streets here were paved with gold.  Sinatra aside, It was my home for the first 20 years of life.

 

I don’t know when I first heard it, but I listened and I listened well.  My elders gifted me the words that would define my adult life.  “Work hard”, they told me and “treat everyone with the same respect you would want from them.”  This coupled with “Play by the rules-Play fair” were the concepts that I embodied as a child.  And, these words were always followed by the natural conclusion that “This is America, anything is possible here.”
